We can offer remote computer support and training, on both Macs and PCs. This can help solve most problems faster and more cheaply than coming to your home. However, you’ll miss out on our smiley faces!
With your permission we can control your computer remotely, helping with most issues. This can be sometimes be quicker, simpler, and easier than OnSite. Don’t worry, we can only do this with your permission and you can see everything we do.

The details...
We have invested in a fantastic system called SimpleHelp. This means that if you go to a special web-page and install Java (a web add-on) we can take control of your computer remotely, or just talk you though whilst seeing what you see.
No need to worry, we can only control your computer while you let us, and once the connection ends you need to initiate it again next time (unless you specifically ask us to set up what we call a “persistent connection”)
Being able to see what’s going on on your screen really helps us to diagnose and solve your issues. Telephone support doesn’t always have to use this remote wizardry, however, sometimes we can solve things just by chatting.
The engineer (usually Michael) will make it clear when the time starts, and when it ends. If you’re happy with the results you can pay with a card over the phone. We’ll then write you a detailed invoice of what’s been done, and email it across to you.
This service is, in principle, open to anyone in the world who speaks English and is awake at the same time as us.
